    In the case of a four-player partnership game, bids will be
    made on a team basis. Pinochle is traditionally a two-player card
    game, however, in the modern day, partnership Pinochle,
    played with four players, is considered the standard.

    At any time during the play, a player may "declare out." At
    that point, play stops and their tricks are counted.
    If, in fact, the player has 1000 points or more, they wins the
    game - even if the opponent has more.
    If these fulfill the bid, there is no play, and the bidder scores the value
    of the game. If not, and the bidder doubts that the bid can be fulfilled

    The object of Auction pinochle is to form melds and score
    points. A specific deck is needed, called a Pinochle deck, composed of 48
    cards. If you don’t have a Pinochle deck, you can make
    your own by combining two standard packs (of the
    same color and design) and leaving out all twos through eights.

    Single deck only; double deck is always minimum bid 500. "None" means no mercy; game continues to the game over score.

    Applies only when "Play" is set to "To score." This option takes precedence over the "must bid/set to win" option, if set.
